Seiko NH36 - Movement Kit

As a watch enthusiast I’ve always admired the engineering that goes into watch movements and the skill required to build and service a movement. This kit came with everything required for a newbie like myself to dip his toes into the watchmaking hobby. The instruction manual was clear and the numbered pictures were extremely helpful for both taking the movement apart and putting it back together again. Of course, being a newbie, I broke some of the delicate pieces which is where the warranty came in and Rotate’s exceptional service shined. They sent the replacement parts quickly and even offered tips on installation via email! Would recommend this kit and rotate for anyone interested in getting into the watchmaking hobby!

I was curious about how a wrist watch works so I somehow found rotate (or the other way around), order my kit, and got to work. I’ve torn this down several times using Rotates easy to use instructions. Whenever I’ve needed help I’ve reached out and they’ve been there. My ease of ordering, receiving the product promptly, and in great condition were all great. However as for the product itself, it is a Christmas present to my son who has become very enthused collecting and now wants to dive into watch making and repair. So I'll have to see what he thinks after opening the present. I suspect he will really enjoy it for a long time.
